Rita is not a big female (70 lbs) but stout enough to get the boys respect. Sturdy overall structure, good bone
and muscle with a rich dark coat and an old world head piece. Her personality is her strongest trait;
extremely amiable, silly, loving and very in tune with her human family. Rita has rewritten our
definitions of a good dog and a loyal companion. Sadly we lost Rita in the winter of 2016
at 13 years old. She had a wonderful life surrounded and loved by 3 generations of her
bloodline. Rita produced some fabulous offspring over the years, recognizably well
built and consistent with calm, silly, caring personalities. We are forever grateful
to the late Annie Cogo (Windfall Labradors) for her trust and guidance
allowing Rita to become our foundation girl!
