Quail Chase Labradors
is a small kennel specializing in quality lines of "English" style Chocolate Labradors. We're located in the town of Cave Creek, Arizona in the Northern part of Phoenix just west of the Black Canyon Mountains. We generally breed 2 litters per year but may increase as our younger dogs come of age. All of our Dams and Sires are AKC registered (American Kennel Club) and certified for soundness and quality in hips, eyes and elbows. We breed for line quality, conformation and above all temperament. Our lines contain an accomplished ancestry in both the show ring and the field. While we breed show and field quality chocolates, our primary goal is to produce sound and loving family pets and companions. Our dogs live with us in our home and are trained in our backyard either in basic obedience or agility.
The needs of our puppies, not only at the time of sale but throughout its lifetime, are the driving forces behind our breeding practice. Prospective buyers need to assess how the size, energy level and other breed specific characteristics meet their expectations. People or families who are not yet ready to care for a pup are encouraged to wait until they are prepared.
Labradors in our breeding program are 2 years of age or older and have radiographic tests performed for hip/elbow Dysplasia, with an OFA, OFEL (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) rating and test number provided. Our Labradors are also veterinarian screened annually for CERF certification and Optigen tested for PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy).

All Quail Chase puppies are on AKC limited registration and cannot be bred unless permission or co-ownership is granted. This is a standard rule of reputable breeders who care for and protect the advancement of their bloodlines and we adhere to it closely. Limited registered dogs cannot compete in AKC conformation classes or have any of their offspring registered, however, they can participate in all AKC performance events.
Like other quality breeders, we created Quail Chase Labradors after years of loving the Labrador breed. Our commitment to our animals and to their new owners is based on responsibility and continual care of the Labrador breed.
